Scott, Pollen and I went to Booka to look for birds on our way to drop Pollen off at home. Everything was going good until we saw a flock of flamingos on ther side of the water. None of us knew how to get across the dam but thoughtwe could go allthe way around the lake to get to them. We were making good progress or so we thought. I was not going close to the water but somebody say the road was this way. I wasn't followingthe road so i went where they told me andthe ground got very wet and we got stuck in the mud. We tried everything to get out. Some locals were near and they came to help.We had about 6people plus the 3 of us trying to get us out. They even tried to have donkeys pull us out. In the end, after dark they found a tow truck and they pulled us out. We found out while we were stuck that you couldn't get all the way around the lake anyway. There was a river that fed into it and we wouldn'thave been able to get across. All that, stuck for4-5 hours and we didnt'see the flamingos close up.
