Pollen had never been to Mokolodi before so I took him with me for a game drive. I feel bad that the locals don't get to see or do things in their own country. We saw a lot of giraffe but no rhino's. I did see gemsbok for the 1st time at Mokolodi, I didn't even know they had them there. Still if you want to see gemsbok, go to the Kalahari, there are so many, they are like impala in the other parks. You start to not stop for them after awhile. We also saw eland, I have never seen them anywhere before. we saw a really old giraffe too. It was the darkest one I have ever seen. They turn dark when they are really old. There are no predators in this park so I am sure that is why they live so long here.
