On our 1st game drive we saw a bunch of giraffes, elephants, birds, red lechwe, impala, kudu and 2 male lions. It was getting dark when we saw the 2 boys so my pictures aren't that good but they were going to cross the river when all of a sudden they stopped. They just sat there in the water and looked. Then there was some ripples in the water and hippos popped up. Lucky they stopped or they would have gotten it by the hippos. The hippos just sat there and wouldn't let them cross. They decided to turn back and we followed them for a bit. Then it was back to the lodge for dinner.
