Sunday morning, Scott, Jackie, Mario, Pollen and I went to Mannyelanong, which means where vultures defecate in Setswana, to see the Cape Vultures. After that we went to mokolodi, of course we didn't see any rhino and then we went to Booka on the way to take Pollen home. We did find the flamingos again which was a great. We got a bit closer to them this time. There were right over were Scott, Pollen and I got stuck in the mud.

Kgale Hill

A small group of us climed Kgale hill on Sat morning. Mario arrived from New York and we had him climbing the hill the next day. I still had a bad cough, I just went at my own pace since I could barely breath. Tabona came back looking for me because he was worried. I brought beer for the local guys and bananas. We sat on the top of the hill for awhile and then made our way back down. We went to the Main Mall and had Pie City then stopped at one of the stands and got some new music.

A quest to see the flamingos, Sunday afternoon at Booka Dam

We decided to try and find the flamingos again when we went to take Pollen home. We found some of the flamingo's but it wasn't as big of a group as the day before when we got stuck. We couldn't find them at first but when we did they didn't say on the ground long. They had young ones with them and when we got close they flew away. When they 1st started taking off it looks like they are running on the water. They flew around for awhile and they they went over by where we got stuck. We decided not to follow them. At least we saw them, they were Greater Flamingo's which were a new bird for me.
